Tivora Player Privacy Policy

Summary

Tivora Player is a private bring-your-own network stream playlist player. The app does not provide media, channels, playlists, subscriptions, streaming services, provider directories, public search, accounts, ads, analytics, tracking SDKs, or backend services.

Information You Provide

If you add a private stream server, the app stores the server URL, display name, username, and password on your device so it can load your authorised playlist. Credentials are stored locally using platform secure storage where available, such as iOS Keychain and Android-backed secure storage.

The app also stores non-sensitive local preferences such as favourite channel IDs, recently watched channel IDs, and the last selected category on your device.

Information We Collect

Tivora Player does not collect personal information from the app. The app does not send usage analytics, advertising identifiers, crash analytics, tracking data, account details, credentials, playlist contents, channel lists, stream URLs, or viewing activity to a Tivora backend.

Network Requests

When you add a server or play a stream, the app connects directly from your device to the server or stream URL that you entered. Those servers are controlled by you or by the service you are authorised to access, not by Tivora Player.

Network operators, server operators, or stream providers may process requests according to their own policies. Only add servers and streams that you own or are authorised to access.

Media Content

Tivora Player does not provide, host, sell, recommend, scrape, index, or bundle media content. You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to access any server or stream you add.

Data Deletion

You can delete local app data from Settings by using Clear local data. This removes saved connection credentials, local favourites, recently watched channels, the last selected category, and the in-memory catalogue cache from the device.

Deleting the app may also remove app data from the device, subject to platform behavior.

Children

Tivora Player is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the app changes. The updated policy will be published at the privacy policy URL used in App Store Connect and Play Console.
